Derby Fuel Station was bought in 2017 by Sewes le Roux. The facility has since been upgraded and expanded to include ablutions, ATMs, a parking area, convenience store, and truck stop.

The Derby Fuel Station and Truck Stop team is committed to providing a refueling and ancillary service facility for vehicles, where drivers can rest and relax in a safe, secure and clean environment 24 hours per day.

In 2022, Derby Fuel Station and Truck Stop became part of the TRUCKFUELNET network.
